Okuma MA-400HA Space Center:
The Okuma purchased new in 2005 is a horizontal CNC spindle mill with full fourth axis capability and a 61 tool capacity. This pallet changer CNC machine is equipped to run parts on half of its work area while the other half is being loaded by the operator, thus maximizing efficiency. The Okuma has a long list of cutting edge features which include:
- Scheduling programs allow the running of
multiple jobs simultaneously either on the
same or opposite pallets and aid the ability
to run unattended or “lights out.”
- A Renishaw tooling probe enables auto tool
setting , tool breakage detection, tool
refreshing while running and monitors status
while running "lights out."
- A dual chip conveyor system removes chips
from the work area, recycles coolant, and self
cleans to maintain uninterrupted operation.
- Automatic thermal compensation
assures accuracy, part after part, regardless
of conditions.
- Rapid traverse at 2,400 IPM and
cutting feeds up to 300 IPM with
Hi-Cut Pro accuracy controls.
- A 15,000 RPM spindle with high
pressure coolant thru the tool for
drilling and pocketing achieves
very high material removal rates.
Multiple work holding options, a large machining envelope, and a powerful PC based touch screen control allows the operator unparalleled monitoring and control, all combine into a revolutionary machine that is capable of complex prototype work or large production runs.
Brother TC-32B QT CNC Tapping Center:
Purchased new in 2006, this machine is the pinnacle of modern CNC machining,
excelling in accuracy, speed, and efficiency in production runs of intricate
and complex parts. Twin full 4th axis rotary tables enable us to
produce intricate parts in fewer operations; while one of its rotary table
work areas is machining, the other is being loaded by the operator.
Twin tool probes allow tool setting and breakage detection regardless
of which pallet is staged.
- Special rigid tapping cycles allow tapping in difficult situations.
- A “Quick Table” program organizer and 27 tool capacity allow for running multiple jobs simultaneously.
- 1 ˝ second chip to chip tool changes, rapid traverse speeds of 2,600 IPM
and cutting feeds as high as 600 IPM, along with a 16,000 RPM spindle make
this machine incredibly fast and efficient.
- A proprietary work holding method designed and built in-house
gives this machine the versatility to hold a wide variety of parts in
ways to make them accessible from multiple approach angles to
reduce set up times. This system also accommodates multiple
parts to reduce the number of loadings.
OKK Vertical Machining Center:
The OKK PCV 40II is a vertical spindle 40 taper CNC mill capable of rigid tapping and equipped with a Tsudakoma rotary table. A 17”x 22” working envelope makes it versatile for both large and small parts. Speed of set up, staged tooling from a 21 tool magazine, and a multitude of work holding options work together to form a system ideal for anything from prototype and tool building to production work.
Brother TC-217 Vertical Drilling and Tapping Center:
This CNC drilling and tapping center with the added versatility of a Hardinge H-5CI rotary indexing system is a compact, quick, and efficient machine. It has a ten tool capacity and a 10,000 RPM spindle. Capable of light milling work, it shines in the production of small precise pieces.
Lagun Vertical Mill:
The Lagunmatic KMC 250-S is a ball screw equipped, 40 taper CNC vertical mill with a 1000-32 CNC control by Dynapath. This is a stout machine with a pneumatic draw bar and the advantage of an unshrouded work area to accommodate large and unwieldy parts.
